We believe exceptional gun dogs must also be exceptional family companions able to fit within the family unit as a beloved member.

- They must live healthy long lives free of allergies and genetic defects.

- They must conform "Excellent" to run tireless in the field.

- They must inherit the superior genetics of their forefathers and mothers to be exceptional wild bird hunters.

 

HEALTH: Our stock is hip screened in Europe, through PennHip or the Orthopedic Foundation for Animals (OFFA) and veterinarian checked prior to mating. Our written guarantee until 3 years old on puppies sold.

HUNTING: The focus of our breeding. Our reproducers are exceptional hunters bred from European Field Champions, they posses extreme hunting drive, enhanced nose quality, canny bird sense, natural retrieving skills, are extremely intelligent, and train easily.

CONFORMATION: We strive to produce dogs with exceptional beauty. We do not breed for show, although will produce champion quality show dogs from time to time. As our stock conforms excellent to the breed standard.

TEMPERAMENT: Can a superior hunting dog possess a calm disposition? YES , with proper training your new dog will be calm in the house and affectionate with your family.

IDENTIFICATION: Your puppy will be permanently identified via ISO micro chip for safety.

REGISTRATION: Your puppy will be registered with the American Kennel Club (AKC) and registerable with the United Kennel Club (UKC) after meeting Limited registrtion obligations.

VACCINATIONS: Your puppy is vaccinated by our licensed veterinarian, all pups are wormed at 4 and 6 weeks and receive their first round of "puppy shots".

DEW CLAWS: After careful consideration and research we do not remove dew claws from our puppies.

PICKUP: Puppies may be picked up at 7 weeks old or flown out at 8 weeks old.

SHIPPING: We are an International breeder and ship across the world, our veterinarian is accredited with the U.S. Department of Agriculture to accomidate strict importation requirements.

NAMING: All puppies are named by Epagneul Breton de Broughton in accordance to the French system. In 2018 names will begin with the letter "O". All names will be followed by de Broughton.

FOOD: We feed our dogs Nutrisource brand puppy and dog food. Click on the link for Information and to find a local retailer.

REPRODUCTION: All puppies are sold with a limited registration and are not to reproduce unless authorized in writing by Epagneul Breton de Broughton. This limitation is to promote positive breeding practices of our bloodlines.
